About Le Fevre Cycle Speedway
LeFevre Cycle Speedway was established in 1993 at Marmora Terrace, Osborne by our Founder the late William (Bill) Rufus (image below).
Bill and his wife Jan worked tirelessly for over 17 years to build the club to where it is today.
Le Fevre Cycle Speedway is a not-for-profit organisation run by volunteer community members.
Membership is open to both males and females of all ages, currently our youngest is 4 years old and our oldest forty plus. We strongly encourage family involvement and this works well with many families able to have two or three children racing in various age groups on the day.
Our track is open to the public at all times with our season running for approximately ten months of the year. A detailed club Racing Diary can be downloaded from our Resources section. Why not get fit, have fun and get involved.
The club holds in-house Championships throughout the year, including Open Championships in conjunction with other clubs and League Racing between the clubs. There are four clubs in total within South Australia, they are:
